Choosing Your Nappies

There are three easy steps to choosing the right size nappy for your baby.

Step 1: How much does my baby weigh?

Step 2: What shape is my baby? short and cuddly - average - long and lean.

Step 3: Is this nappy for daytime or night time?

Our nappies have an approximate weight / age range. As all babies are different this is only an average guide. If your baby has very cuddly thighs and tummy then the next size up will most probably work for your baby. If you have any questions or concerns about thigh size you can email or phone us and we will be able to assist you with this. It is very impotant to buy a nappy that fits well. If you buy nappies that are too large for your baby and there is not a snug fit around the tummy and thighs, leaks will occur.

If you are purchasing your nappies for overnight, the size guage works a little differently. This is because there is more stuffing in the nappy to last all night. This makes the nappy more snug. If your baby is in the higher weight range for the size ( eg: in a medium during the day and is 9.5kg) they will often need to be in the next size up. This will provide more stuffing room and will give the nappy a higher fit around the tummy ensuring a leak free night.
